KATAF™ Cooling Shoulder Wrap
The KATAF™ Cooling Shoulder Wrap is a U.S. Patented wearable
cold therapy solution designed to soothe pain, swelling, and inflammation in
your dog’s shoulder and front leg. It supports recovery from sprains, strains,
soft-tissue injuries, and orthopedic surgery. Engineered with PURHEART®’s
innovative body-contoured gel technology, KATAF™ delivers targeted cooling from
the shoulder down the forelimb while allowing your dog to rest and move
comfortably.
Unlike ice packs that slide off a moving dog, KATAF™
features an ultra-thin, flexible gel casing that contours over the shoulder
joint and down the upper arm and forearm. It stays securely in place, providing
consistent contact and effective cooling throughout each therapy session.

Easy to Use
- Freeze the wrap until fully chilled.
- Let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes,
until the gel is pliable.
- Position the gel pad over the affected shoulder, with
the lower section running down the front leg.
- Secure the hook-and-loop straps for a snug,
non-restrictive fit.
Typical cooling sessions last approximately 10–15 minutes,
or as recommended by your veterinarian. Because KATAF™ stays cold for up to 1
hour, it can be used for repeated sessions throughout the day without
re-freezing each time.

Important Safety Information
KATAF™ is intended to complement, not replace, professional
veterinary care. Sudden lameness, limping, or refusal to bear weight can signal
a fracture, dislocation, or serious joint injury, so have your dog examined by
a veterinarian before beginning cold therapy. For post-surgical use, follow
your veterinarian’s instructions, and do not apply over an open or draining
incision.
Always supervise your dog during use. Allow the wrap to
soften until pliable before applying and check the skin beneath it between
sessions. Make sure the straps are not tight enough to restrict circulation.
Discontinue use and consult your veterinarian if redness, irritation, increased
swelling, worsening lameness, or other unusual symptoms occur.
