Description
COLD THERAPY (First 24-48 hours after injury or procedure):
* Chill the gel pack in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 2 hours before use.
* Wrap around the entire arm using the adjustable strap.
* Apply for 10-20 minutes at a time, repeating every 2-3 hours as needed.
* Do not apply frozen directly to the skin-always use a barrier like a towel.
HEAT THERAPY (After 24-48 hours to promote circulation & healing):
* Microwave for 20-30 seconds or soak in warm water for 5 minutes.
* Check temperature before application to prevent burns.
* Wrap securely around the arm, applying for 10-20 minutes at a time.
* Use heat therapy to relax muscles, reduce stiffness, and encourage blood flow.
