Maxillofacial Surgery - Apply on head for 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off (rotate ice packs with frozen ice packs).
After 24 hours of ice| switch to warm moist heat.
Orthognathic - Ice packs applied to the sides of the face will help minimize swelling.
Use ice packs for the first 48 hours; apply ice 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off.
After the first 48 hours| discontinue ice packs and begin warm compresses.
Jaw Osteotomy - Apply the gel packs for about 20 minutes| 4 times per day.
This gel pack wrap feels soft as it is customized to fit the Face, Jaw, Mouth. It is uniquely designed to limit the flow of the gel partly to ensure the gel in uniform distribution. It does not condensate water during use to prevent potential infection. It keeps still very flexible even after frozen.
